Rock Building Services Group have supported Ricardo across multiple sites in the south of England for over ten years. As early adopters of electric vehicle technology, Ricardo engaged us to design and install EV charging infrastructure for staff and visitors at their Harwell Campus, ensuring the installation met both immediate and future requirements.

The rapid development of EV technology presented challenges around future-proofing capacity, load management, and system compatibility. The client required confidence that the investment would remain viable as technology evolved.

We delivered a robust initial installation and maintained an ongoing relationship with the client, enabling us to upgrade the original chargers to new-generation smart units incorporating load monitoring and energy management technology.
